One Time Password tokens

OTP tokens remain popular and widely used due to their convenience, reliability and safety.

Thousands of organizations worldwide use an OTP token to protect network and customer data. An OTP token adds an extra layer of security by identifying users with not only a password but also a unique code (OTP= One Time Password) of the token. In addition to your usual password, you now also need to enter the card code. This code appears on the token after pressing the power button. This code is unique and remains valid for 30 or 60 seconds. So two identification factors are needed, something you know (your password) and something you have (your card). 2FA is therefore a very safe way of logging in.

We have OTP tokes in two form factors: the traditional small token (the C100 and the C200), and a version with the shape and size of a smart card (the display card). OATH tokens using the TOTP time-based algorithm for generating one-time passwords contain a built-in clock that may become desynchronized. Per RFC 6238, the time difference between the token and server should be monitored by the server software. When this cannot be guaranteed, we recommend using our NFC OTP products that can be resynchronised if needed.

With the programmable OTP Display cards and the NFC programmable OTP tokens the seeds can be programmed via special seed programming tools . Programming seeds via NFC is needed when Google authentication via OTP is required. In this video a short demonstration is provided .
